I like to draw with graphite, charcoal, black chalk and of course with graphite pencil.

I sometimes use a black or gray support, it allows me to work in negative by lightening the sheet with white chalk.

Sometimes just a few lines allow you to subjectively express an emotion or an atmosphere on the surface of the paper. 

And, drawing is often the first step before painting, a privileged moment where observation takes its place.
